DIY Headbands for the kids!!

Hey people, how is this year going on?? I am sure it must be fun!!
As promised, I am starting a new topic – DIY for the kids this year.
And this is the first post, where I will be showing you how to make headbands for kids.

Materials required:-
Foam in color of your choice
Felt in color of your choice
Artificial flowers
Glitter
Glue and sealant (like modpodge, or normal glue and nail polish top coat)
Fabric pens
And ribbons or headbands

1. Flower headband:-
Take a foam sheet and cut 5cm/15cm

Now fold the sheet lengthwise and glue using glue gun (it sticks fast)

Now leave a 7mm from the place where it has been glued and cut the remaining from bottom where it has been folded. This is how it should look like now.

Now start winding the cut portion and keep on gluing using glue gun for each round.

Here is your beautiful flower, Just paste it to a piece of ribbon and it would look very very cute on a girl baby!!

2. Artificial flower headband:-
Since my flowers were white in color, I wanted to bring in some colors.
I colored the flowers using fabric pen and pasted them on a piece of ribbon.
Here is your princess’s crown!! 🙂

You can attach a hairpin under it and make the kids wear them.

5. Glitter heart headband
I am sure a lot of girls will go oh la la over this headband
Make a heart shape template in a paper.

Outline on foam sheet using the template and cut the heart out

Since I am going to give a gold glitter, I painted the base with gold fabric paint and then applied modpodge over the heart and poured fine gold glitter. (I got some glitter on my hands too!!)
Make sure you keep some paper underneath to pour out the remaining glitter into the box.

6. Felt pinwheel headband:-
This is such a cute hair accessory for the girl babies.
Take 2 felt color of your choice. Draw a circle of around 2″ inch in radius, I chose the bottom of spray paint bottle. Now cut out the circle.

Draw a line on 4 sides on the circle starting from edge, towards the center, not complete lines, as per below picture.
