DIY Bracelet

Building your arm candy is so much fun. And DIY’ing them using elastic cords is a very easy project 🙂

Materials required:
Elastic cord (around 1.8 to 2 meters)
Gold rectangular spacer beads
Pearls or any beads
A pair of scissors
Clear Nail Polish

Start by inserting your rectangular bead in the elastic cord and place it at the center.

Now add 2nd bead and insert elastic cords ends into the second bead crossing each other. Now pull it out

Keep doing this and you will have a beautiful chain of beads as shown below. When the chain covers your front portion of wrist, Now, add a rectangular bead perpendicular to the inserted beads.

Now knot the elastic cords using surgeon’s knot – A normal loop and before pulling out, make another loop on one side alone and pull it

Add the pearls on both the strand and tie a surgeon’s knot at the end.
Add a drop of clear nail polish (top coat) 3 times, giving an interval of 5 min between each application.
Now cut the extra elastic cord.

I added a broken earring and another bead.
Jump ring
Charm/broken earring

Open the jump ring, insert the charm and bead and insert on to the end of your bracelet.
